UPDATE

22 Jan

Just an update of where we stand at this present time, we are still going to review near the end of february whether to open or not for day fishing. Like us, most of you dont know if your coming or going, last night it was mentioned that lockdown could continue into early spring. It may sound a bit premature but we have decided to take bookings now for night fishing/ cabins & camping. It would be sensible to say from the 1st may onwards on the understanding if rules change we will have to cancel. This will give anglers a chance to secure a date they were already thinking of, as once rules are lifted, like before bookings go fast. Any bookings before this date we will sort when lockdown is lifted. There are no pre- payments or deposits up front, just pay on the day ( all we ask is if you have to cancel let us know asap so it free’s up a space for another angler ect, so there is nothing to lose. My mobile will be on from now 07713468264 if no reply leave your name number & reason ie cabins. Day fishing when it starts will be just turn up no booking. Until then stay safe, we miss you all & the fish are hungry, hope to see you soon.

Regards Julie & Pam

Hi you say day ticket will be as normal when fishing starts but it hasn’t stopped you can still go fishing as long as it’s not over night it’s classed as exercise I’d have thought you would have welcomed any income at this present time and be open like other places

We are fully aware that fishing has carried on, although there is a contradition of outdoor recreation close to home, fortunatly we are in the position to open & close when we wish, as we are a family run buissess there are members with serious underlying illnesses, it does not stop at just the fishing as many people forget we also have to clean the toilet blocks ect, once we feel the risk factor is low we may consider opening

I just want to say I hope you are all OK and that I’m looking forward to returning as soon as possible.
I’d like my first trip to be at the disabled swim on Corsican, I now have my blue disabled badge and am quite limited as to where I can fish.
    Bless you all, keep safe.
